A commercial driver on Friday set on fire a personnel of the Edo State Traffic Management Agency (EDSTMA).
The driver was said to have resorted to a violent attack to avert being taken to the EDSTMA’s office after committing a traffic offence.
The driver in a bus marked Osun FFE145XA reportedly beat the traffic light on Adesuwa Junction along Sapele Road.
He was stopped by traffic personnel and tried to resist arrest.

The driver brought out petrol, got himself naked, poured the petrol on the officer in the bus and set him ablaze as we speak the officer is receiving treatment in a hospital here in Benin City.
