Buttock enlargement: Lagos nurse arrested over death of woman
The Lagos State Police Command has detained a nurse in relation to the tragic death of a 36-year-old woman, identified only as Mrs. Abiola. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the arrest in a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday.
According to Hundeyin, the arrest followed a report made to the Maroko Police Division on Tuesday at approximately 11:40 a.m. The report came from the deceased woman’s driver, who detailed the events leading up to her death.
The driver explained that on Monday at around 3:00 a.m., Mrs. Abiola, a resident of Diamond Estate in Sangotedo-Lekki, had requested to be taken to a clinic in Lekki Phase 1 for a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) injection—a cosmetic procedure intended for buttocks enlargement.
