Carloha Nigeria has taken a bold step toward transforming the automotive landscape in the country with the official launch of the Chery Tiggo 9 SUV and the CarlohaCare 6-6-7 service package.

The event, held at the Landmark Event Centre in Oniru, Lagos, showcased the company’s renewed commitment to making vehicle ownership in Nigeria more accessible, reliable, and customer-focused.

Speaking at the unveiling, Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria, Mr. Sola Adigun, described the CarlohaCare 6-6-7 initiative as the most customer-centric aftersales service promise in Nigeria’s automotive industry.

Six-year free scheduled maintenance

Seven-day repair promise with a courtesy car guarantee

“This initiative sets a new benchmark for peace of mind and long-term value in the Nigerian auto market,” Adigun said. “We’re not just selling cars—we’re delivering a reliable ownership experience that prioritises the customer.”

Also unveiled at the event was the Chery Tiggo 9, a sophisticated, family-friendly SUV that blends premium design with advanced technology and class-leading safety features.

According to the General Manager of Marketing at Carloha, Mr. Taiwo Akinpelu, the Tiggo 9 is positioned as a standout offering in Nigeria’s growing SUV market.

Highlighting Chery’s global success, Adigun pointed out that the brand has cemented its place as China’s largest vehicle exporter, with over five million vehicles exported to more than 80 countries.

He said Nigerian customers would now enjoy the same high standards that have earned Chery international acclaim.

Beyond product innovation, Carloha is also investing heavily in local capacity building. The company is currently training Nigerian technicians to global standards, ensuring every Chery vehicle is supported by expert care and readily available parts.

Looking Ahead: Local Assembly and Sustainable Mobility

As part of its long-term vision, Carloha announced plans to begin local vehicle assembly in 2026—a move aimed at reducing costs, creating jobs, and boosting Nigeria’s automotive manufacturing capacity.
