Prophet Johnson and Prophet Madu
The prophets of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Yaba, Lagos, who were documented in FIJ’s #ProphetOfTheirPockets series, have been demoted and suspended from the church.
A senior member of the church, who asked not to be named, informed FIJ on Wednesday that the church’s prelate, HME Elder David Bob-Manuel, convened a panel shortly after FIJ’s report to probe the complicity of the prophets identified in the series.

The source stated that the panel found the prophets guilty and consequently demoted and suspended them from the church, and that the verdict was communicated to church members on Tuesday via the church’s social media platform.
The international headquarters of C&S in Yaba was one of the religious centres that ‘Fisayo Soyombo, FIJ’s founder and editor-in-chief, visited while pretending to be gay and in need of deliverance for his investigative series.
There, he met prophets Madu Chiboka, Dike, and Prince Johnson, who not only bombarded him with false prophecies and fleeced him of cash, but also individually cornered him for their personal enrichment.
