Chieftain rallies support for APC presidential candidate

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Rear Admiral Ilesanmi Alade (rtd) has started rallying support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

Specifically, Alade inaugurated the Democratic Network for Asiwaju/ Shettima (DNA) at Sita Hall in Akure, Ondo State.

The former Commandant of National Defence College (NDC) in Abuja said the group was formed in 2018 to mobilise for the re-election of Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in 2020 and it delivered on the mandate.

He said the group had been restructured to drive more mobilisation for Tinubu’s candidacy, assuring that DNA was well rooted in the 18 local governments of Ondo State.

“The campaign group was approved on September 20 by the national body of our party headed by Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu to serve as a support group and to ensure that our activities are in synergy with the party’s guidelines and constitution,” he said.

Alade said the group would canvass and convince the electorate on why they should vote for the presidential candidate of APC.

“At this point, let me congratulate all executive members being inaugurated today.

“Your antecedents led to your nomination and I believe that with you, the Democratic Networks for Asiwaju/Shettima DNA will get to the promise land…

“Let me make it clear that DNA will not operate in isolation of the APC constituted guidelines and command structure,” he said.

National Coordinator of Next-Level Consolidation Forum, Oladesu Oladipo, has said the forum is committed in the campaign to elect the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu

He spoke when he visited the Presidential Campaign Council with Southwest leaders of Next-Level Consolidation Forum (NLCF) in Abuja.

According to him, NLCF is involved and committed to ensuring Tinubu’s presidency succeeds, adding that Tinubu/Shetima government will bring about Next-Level prosperity for  Nigerians, regardless of creed, tribe or tongue.

Highlighting the impact of Tinubu’s leadership, he said:  “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is being eulogised today as the architect of good governance in Lagos State. The great man among great men, the leader who laid the foundation plan that his successors are following today and the governor who raised the monthly Internal Generated Revenue of Lagos State from N600 million to N30 billion monthly.

‘’It is our prayer that  Asiwaju Tinubu will win the election and become the president of Nigeria.”

He  assured of NLCF’s determination to mobilise Nigerians for the victory of Tinubu.

“We are going to mobilise, mobilise and mobilise from door to door, canvassing for Asiwaju Tinubu/Kassim Shettima as president and vice president,” he said.
