Civilian Joint Taskforce
Members of the Civilian Joint Task Force on Sunday repelled an attack on a town in the Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State and killed nine terrorists.
The task force team also arrested five other terrorists and impounded nine motorcycles used during the attack.
Sources, who spoke to our correspondent, said the terrorists attacked the town around 4.30pm, adding that the terrorists stormed the town in no fewer than 10 motorcycles.

During the invasion, the task force team confronted the terrorists, and during an exchange of gun fire, killed nine suspects.
The team reportedly arrested five members of the gang during the operation.
Contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isah, said the DPO in the area was yet to brief the command about the incident.
Isah said “I will brief you whenever the DPO in the area briefs the command about the incident.”
