Three features that will distinguish the latest BMW 3 Series just introduced to the Nigerian market from other vehicles in the same segment are high-tech connectivity, comfort and run-flat tyre, Coscharis Motors, the authorised distributor of the brand in Nigeria, has said.
Group General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Cosccharis Group, Mr Abiona Babarinde, disclosed this, stressing that the BMW 3 series had remained a market leader in its segment, adding this would be enhanced by the new configurations and updates in its current model,.
He stated this while presenting the 7th generation of new BMW 3 Series to the motoring journalists in Lagos.
He said, “Thanks to new connectivity technologies, you can now communicate with your BMW 3 Series. Together with the technology package BMW ConnectedDrive, services such as Connected Music or Remote Software Upgrade, you always remain linked with your BMW and the world.
“In matters of comfort, too, the BMW 3 Series appears even more generously proportioned and practical. Be it access to the vehicle via smartphone, acoustic glazing or the intelligent through-loading system – every detail makes life easier and offers a high level of ride comfort.”
Babarinde said by just saying ‘Hey BMW’ the all-new BMW 3 Series would recognise one’s voice and heed one’s every word.
“I am sure we are aware that this model marks the seventh generation of the 3 series and also marks the start of a new chapter in the BMW design language: clear shapes and poetic surfaces enrich the ‘innate’ dynamics with a modern presence,” he said.
Any driver of the new vehicle with other occupants will not have to stop during any trip on account of flat tyre because the new BMW 3 Series is built to run on flat tyre (should they have such issue), according to Assistant General Manager, BMW Sales, Coscharis Motors, Joseph Omokhapue,
The company stressed that the target was to position the BMW 3 Series for corporate and retail sales and make it the preferred choice for young hardworking executives, especially those in their late 20s and mid-40s.
“It is important to emphasize that at the core of the new BMW 3 Series is the availability of four years/200,000km repair inclusive and three years/40,000km service inclusive packages, whichever comes first. This means that our customers can relax with the knowledge that all agreed service/repair work and the required original BMW parts are already covered by the selected package,” it added.
