Abba Kyari gets two-week bail for mother’s burial
An Abuja Federal High Court has granted a two-week bail to former Commander of the Force Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari. This temporary release is intended to allow Kyari to return home and finalize his mother’s burial rites.

The court has scheduled Friday, May 31, for the determination of his bail application.
Kyari is currently facing trial on drug-related charges brought by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). He was arrested by the NDLEA on February 14, 2022.
