Cubana Chief Priest: Kenyan baby mama saga targeted at my marriage

Nigerian socialite and entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has dismissed allegations by a Kenyan woman claiming he is the father of her child.

The celebrity businessman described the accusations as an attempt to destabilize his marriage.

The woman, identified as Helen, has accused Cubana Chief Priest of neglecting her and their alleged child. However, the socialite has consistently denied the claims.

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Rubbin’ Minds on Sunday, Cubana Chief Priest reiterated that the child is not his and stated he has no relationship with the Kenyan woman.

“Children are gifts from God regardless of how they come, and I have more than enough to take care of my children as many as possible that will come my way,” he said during the programme.

“I have a beautiful marriage; this is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and if you watch the whole attack, it is on the marriage.”

When asked if he would acknowledge the child if it were his, he responded, “Of course,” adding that he would be willing to take a paternity test to clear his name. However, he noted, “You cannot bash me this hard and expect my loyalty.”

The Imo State-born businessman emphasized that the controversy has not affected his relationship with his wife. He described their bond as deeper than a typical marital relationship, calling her his business partner and inseparable associate.

He further stated that the allegations have surfaced repeatedly whenever he faces public scrutiny, suggesting ulterior motives behind the claims. “The woman is always popping up every time I have an issue that goes viral, which shows that she has an ulterior motive rather than genuinely looking for the father of her child,” he explained.
