Customs impound seven containers of hard drugs in Rivers
The Nigeria Customs Service said it has intercepted seven containers loaded with contraband drugs like codeine cough syrups, chilly cutter, hyergra tablets and Really Extra Diclofenac tablets worth over N11 billion at Onne Port in Rivers State.
The Comptroller, Area 2 Command, Onne, Rivers, Mr Muhammed Babandede, made the disclosure at a press briefing in Onne on Thursday.
Babandede expressed concerns that saboteurs and criminals were still engaging in the importation of contraband goods and illicit drugs.
