A middle-aged man, identified only as Oyakemeagbegha, has been accused of killing one Mr Ebitein Aperebo, in Ojobo community, in the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Witnesses said the incident happened on Saturday after the suspect quarrelled with the victim’s wife.
According to sources, Oyakemeagbegha, after the disagreement, proceeded to meet the woman’s husband at home to further vent his anger.

It was gathered that the victim was sleeping when Oyakemeagbegha stormed the residence, woke him from sleep “and hit him to death with a 2/2 wood.”
Oyakemeagbegha was said to have fled the scene after committing the crime.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, could not be reached for comments as of the time of filing this report.
