Despite being unmarried, Telegram CEO says he has over 100 biological children

39-year-old founder and CEO of Telegram Messenger, Pavel Durov has disclosed that he has over 100 biological children scattered across the world.

This surprising revelation came via Pavel Durov’s personal channel, where he shared the unexpected details of his personal life.

Durov, who has never been married, revealed that his journey into fatherhood began 15 years ago when he was persuaded by a friend to donate sperm to help the friend and his wife, who were struggling with fertility issues.

The decision, initially intended to assist one couple, expanded dramatically when the clinic informed Durov that they were in need of additional high-quality sperm donors.

Motivated by the clinic’s request, Durov agreed to donate more sperm anonymously, contributing to the conception of children for numerous other couples facing similar fertility challenges.

As of 2024, Durov’s donations have enabled over 100 families in 12 different countries to have children.
