Disaster as FMC senior manager jumps into Ogun well

It was further learnt that one of Adeniyi’s children was set to marry in a month’s time before the tragic incident happened.

His body has been recovered from the well and has since been deposited at a morgue.

Though, the reasons behind the tragic act are yet to be determined, but a source disclosed that Adeniyi had a history of mental health struggles, although the specific nature of his condition remains undisclosed.

The Head of Public Relations and Communication Unit at FMC Abeokuta, Segun Orisajo confirmed the incident and expressed the hospital management’s deep sorrow.

Orisajo stated, “It is true that he committed suicide. It was an unfortunate incident. The management feels saddened about this development’.

He described the late Adeniyi as a hardworking and loyal staff member whose sudden death came as a shock to everyone at the hospital.

“The unfortunate incident caught the entire management off guard. It is a quiet and irreparable loss.
