Don Jazzy raises Verydarkman NGO with N100m

Popular Nigerian activist, VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, has confirmed that renowned music producer Don Jazzy was the generous donor behind the N100 million contribution to his Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

VDM shared the news on October 17 through his verified Instagram account, expressing both surprise and deep gratitude for the donation.

Earlier, Verydarkman had raised concerns after receiving the anonymous N100 million donation, which brought the total balance in his NGO account to N170 million.

In a previous post, he appealed to Nigerians and Zenith Bank for help in identifying the donor, clarifying that he had no involvement in any fraudulent activities and was unaware of who made the contribution.

Despite reaching out to several individuals, no one initially came forward. However, VDM later revealed that Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, personally reached out to him and confirmed that he was responsible for the generous donation.

The message read, “Morning bro. Just saw your post. Na me send 100m to support. I believe in what you are doing and trust you to be as transparent as you have always been. We really need that in our country. I wish you all the best with the project and more blessings to you. E no easy.”

Still in disbelief, VeryDarkMan shared a video where he displayed the message and the receipt of the transaction.

He expressed deep gratitude for Don Jazzy’s generosity, noting that he never expected such a large sum from the music mogul.

VDM explained that the NGO was established to support children in public primary schools who lack access to quality teachers.
