Edo Assembly Summons Natasha Irobosa Over Alleged Misconduct, Orders Ethics Probe
The Edo State House of Assembly has issued a formal summons to Natasha Osawaru Irobosa, wife of Nigerian music icon Tuface Idibia, to answer allegations of misconduct that lawmakers say have brought negative publicity to the legislature.
The decision was announced during Tuesday’s plenary session, where the Speaker stated that recent actions attributed to Natasha had allegedly tarnished the image of the Edo Assembly, prompting widespread public concern following negative media reports.

Natasha has been directed to appear before the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges within one week. She is expected to defend herself and provide clarification on the allegations, as well as explain why disciplinary action should not be taken against her.
The committee has been mandated to conduct a thorough investigation and present its findings to the House within two weeks.
Although details of the alleged misconduct remain unclear, lawmakers insist that the probe will adhere strictly to due process as the Assembly moves to safeguard its integrity and reinforce its legislative code of conduct.
