EFCC invites victims of CBEX fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited Nigerians who lost money to the fraudulent crypto currency trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), to report at its zonal directorates in Ibadan and Lagos.
The Commission is currently prosecuting three suspects – Adefowoara Abiodun Olanipekun, Otorudo Avwerosuo, and Ehirim Justice Chukwuebuka, over their alleged involvement in the scheme.
According to EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale, CBEX lured investors with promises of unrealistic returns, leading to huge financial losses for many Nigerians.
