Eid al-Adha: Lawmaker donates 100 cows to constituents

Zubairu said the gesture was part of his welfare package to the people for the festival.

He said this during the distribution of the cows in Bungudu town, Bungudu Local Government Area, on Sunday.

Zubairu, was represented by the Chairman of the APC Bungudu Local Government Area, Alhaji Kabiru Dankulu.

He said the cows were procured by the lawmaker for various categories of the beneficiaries.

The Chairman of the distribution committee, Alhaji Hamisu Iko, said the beneficiaries comprised the APC executives in Bungudu and Maru local government areas, APC ward executives, youths and women groups, party supporters and associations.

“Other beneficiaries include orphans, IDPs and less privileged people in Maru and Bungudu areas,” Iko said.

He commended the lawmaker for his various socio-economic interventions to the constituents, especially at the grassroots.
