Emefiele would’ve been facing firing squad by now if… – Tinubu’s aide
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Tinubu, has said that the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, would have by now be facing a firing squad if he had committed misappropriations linked to him in China.
The outspoken Onanuga stated this in a post on his verified X handle on Friday, while reacting to information on misappropriations linked to Emefiele that was shared by Statisense.
“If Godwin Emefiele and his gang had committed these egregious misappropriations in China, they will by now be facing the firing squad for high treason,” Onanuga said.
