Estranged husband shoots wife’s new lover multiple times, flees
An estranged husband gunned down his wife’s new partner late Thursday night, July 17 in front of a home in Queens, New York, before fleeing the scene, according to police.
The victim, a 50-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the chest and stomach around 10:30 p.m. on 119th Street near 28th Avenue in the College Point neighborhood. He was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after, authorities said.

The suspected shooter, described by sources as a 55-year-old man separated from his wife, fled the scene and remained at large as of Friday morning. His identity has not been released.
Investigators have not confirmed whether a confrontation occurred before the shooting or if the attack was an ambush. It also remains unclear whether the woman involved witnessed the fatal incident.
Police are continuing their investigation and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
