Ex-President Jonathan raises alarm over fake Instagram account
The office of former President Goodluck Jonathan has warned the public about a fraudulent Instagram account impersonating him.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ikechukwu Eze, special adviser to Jonathan, said the account, operating under the handle goodluck_ebelejonathan, has been posting content.

He said some of the contents were copied from the ex-president’s verified Facebook page, while posing as him.
Eze said Jonathan does not operate any Instagram account and urged the public and the media to disregard, avoid sharing, or promoting any material from the fake profile.
Interestingly, the fake Instagram account has over 300,000 followers and over 250 posts on its timeline.
