A few days to the Christmas celebration, an indigenous auto assembler, Nord Automobiles Limited, has launched five astonishing new vehicles expected to light up the end of the year festivities and usher people into the 2021 business operations.
Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Oluwatobi Ajayi, says the five new models, representing passenger and commercial segments, were all assembled by the firm in its Lagos assembly plant and built with perfection.
The vehicles are Nord sedan A3; the Nord SUV A5; Nord Flit minibus; Nord Max pick up; and Nord Tank pickup.
Ajayi spoke at Landmark event centre, Lagos, where the new vehicles were rolled out to the admiration of new vehicle enthusiasts, topnotch artistes, politicians, renowned young businesspeople and motoring journalists.
Nord, according to Ajayi, was born out of the need to check the importation of substandard vehicles into Nigeria, and to drastically reduce the huge amount spent annually on automobile importation.
Based on a current research, he said the fast-evolving Nigerian market had shown a strong demand for vehicles found to be stylish, comfortable and have premium features, adding that Nord models had come to meet such demand.
Ajayi stated that with the launch of these vehicles, “we aim to exceed expectations by offering our customers world-standard products at very competitive prices.
“The Nord vehicles are designed for the discerning customer, who craves daily satisfaction and full automobile experience. They are a perfect combination of style, performance and fuel efficiency.”
The Nord CEO also gave some of the striking features of the Nord brand of vehicles just unveiled.
