‘Exclusion from federal cabinet’ – We’ll reply their mistake at the right time – El-Rufa’i
The decision to leave out former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, from federal cabinet, appears to be still raising dust as one of his sons, Mohammed El-Rufa’i , said ‘the mistake’ would be replied at the right time.
Newstrends reports that El-Rufa’i was in August 2023 nominated as ministerial nominee by President Bola Tinubu but the Senate failed to approve the former governor as a minister citing petitions against him.
But responding to a tweet by one X user, UI Shehu, on the seeming exclusion of El-Rufa’i from governance at the federal level, on Saturday, Mohammed-a serving member of the House of Representatives, said there was no cause for alarm as the mistake would be responded to.
He said : “Their mistake. We will reply at the right time.”

In a reply to another post, Mohammed, who said El-Rufai and Tinubu are in good terms, said his father could have fixed the power sector.
“And he could have fix your power issue. They designed the blueprint with Hafiz in two weeks. But politics. I know Nigerians well. I know when to leave. May God guide us. But I know what I’m doing. The good news is for four years, it’s back to back,” he said.
Shehu had tweeted : “It was a terrible mistake taking your Dad out of the equation, we need someone with great potentiality in the ministry of power like him. I pray he one day rule Nigeria and take it to greatness.”
