Family of 4 perishes in Abuja car accident
A tragic car accident claimed the lives of a family of four returning from Christmas and New Year celebrations in Benue State.
The incident occurred on Sunday at Akwanga, Nasarawa State, leaving the community in deep mourning.
Victor Tyohemba, an Abuja-based accountant, his wife, a lawyer, and their two young children were traveling to Abuja when their vehicle reportedly experienced a mechanical failure, leading to a rollover. Eyewitnesses reported that the car caught fire shortly after the crash, leaving the victims unrecognizable due to severe burns.

The heartbreaking incident has devastated their family and community. The remains of the family were laid to rest on Monday in their hometown of Igbor village, Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State.
At the emotional burial ceremony, grieving relatives and friends gathered to pay their last respects. Tears flowed as the casket containing the remains of the family was lowered into the ground, marking the tragic end of a promising family.
