A father has been arrested for allegedly conniving with his Doctor and Nurse to sell his three month-old baby for N400,000.
This was revealed by the spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Thursday.
Hundeyin, in a tweet on his Twitter handle, said the sale was carried out without the knowledge of the mother of the baby.
He said after days of searching for the baby without success, the Command was informed of the development.
He said all the suspects involved, including the buyer, have been arrested by the police, saying: “All suspects arrested.
“Baby is safe.”
Hundeyin said that the yet-to-be-named suspects are to be prosecuted by the State Criminal Investigation Department.
