The Federal Road Safety Corps on Thursday took delivery of five new operational vehicles donated by the Federal Capital Territory Administration to beef up the patrol activities of the corps.
The Acting Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dauda Ali Biu, who received the vehicles at the national headquarters of the corps, commended the efforts of the FCT administration in enhancing the safety of lives and property on all roads within the nation’s capital.
A statement by Bisi Kazeem, Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer, said the corps marshal “sent words of appreciation to the honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Muhammed Bello, following the donation of five operational vehicles.”
Biu said the corps would ensure that the vehicles are maximally deployed for greater productivity, enhanced traffic flow and effective patrol operations.
