FG replaces NAMA MD, appoints Odunowo new head
The Federal Government has appointed Tayib Odunowo as new managing director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).
He replaces Mathew Pwajok, who was acting managing director of the agency for over one year.
Odunowo, until this appointment was director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Pwajok will now serve as director of operations in the agency.
The announcement made on Monday is coming about 48 hours after a similar change was made by the FG at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria
Capt. Rabiu Yadudu was sacked as FAAN MD and immediately replaced with Kabir Yusuf Mohammed.
Mohammed was the Regional General Manager, North Central and the Manager of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, before his new appointment.
Five directors at FAAN were also relieved of their appointments.
