Five persons died on Thursday while four others sustained injuries in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident at 9am at the Ayetoro/Indomie axis of the highway, involving a Toyota Hiace and a truck.
It was gathered that the bus lost control and rammed into the truck.
The spokesperson for the state sector command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident in a statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.
Okpe said the crash was caused by speeding and dangerous driving on the part of the bus driver.
