Four injured as popular Samsung Building collapses in Abuja
Tragedy struck at the popular Banex Junction in Abuja on Tuesday when a section of the Samsung building, located on Aminu Kano Crescent, collapsed during ongoing construction, leaving four workers injured.
The building, which had been destroyed by fire last year, was undergoing reconstruction when the penthouse segment of the three-story structure gave way during casting.

Nkechi Isa, Head of Public Affairs at the Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Department, confirmed the incident.
According to Isa, no lives were lost, and emergency responders swiftly transported the injured workers to Wuse General Hospital for treatment.
Out of the ten workers present on-site, four sustained injuries, while others escaped unhurt. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the collapse to ensure accountability and prevent similar occurrences in the future.
