“I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain and looking forward to playing in my new colours,” said Dembele.
“I hope to continue to grow here and make all lovers of the club proud.”
The 26-year-old started his career at Rennes before joining Borussia Dortmund, where he scored in their victorious DFB-Pokal final against Eintracht Frankfurt in 2017.
His impressive performances in the Bundesliga attracted the attention of Barcelona and, in the summer of 2017, he became, at the time, the joint-second most expensive footballer ever after moving to the Camp Nou for an initial fee of €105m.
Dembele racked up a total of 185 appearances for Barcelona, scoring 40 times for the club during a six-season spell which saw him win three Liga titles, as well as two Copa del Reys.
Ahead of the new season, Dembele has been building his fitness and scored during a 3-0 win over rivals Real Madrid in a friendly in Texas.
PSG welcome Dembele at a time when the future of his international team-mate Kylian Mbappe remains up in the air.
“We are delighted to welcome Ousmane Dembele to Paris Saint-Germain where he will be an important and committed player for our club,” said PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
“The passion and determination shown by Ousmane when joining PSG is fantastic and corresponds to the attitude required of all our players.
“We are proud to have another French World Cup winner at Paris Saint-Germain as we enter a new great era for our club.”
