Fresh revelation, Edo girl accused of poisoning five people speaks (Videos)

The teenage girl whose picture was plastered all over social media, as she was accused of k!lling her boyfriend and four of his friends with poisoned pepper soup, has spoken out after being vindicated.

Aisha Suleiman, from Edo state, was almost lynched in October 2024 after someone went on X to share her photo while claiming she had poisoned five people – her boyfriend and four friends.

Though she was not even in the area when the tragic incident happened, she was accosted when she returned and publicly humiliated by members of the community who tied her up and got petrol, ready to set her abl@ze.

But for the intervention of authorities, she would have been de@d.

She was eventually arrested and taken into custody before being charged to court.

However, human rights activists got involved and the case was properly investigated during which it was discovered that the 4 boys and 1 girl were k!lled by inhaling generator fumes.

Speaking after being exonerated, Aisha said she never cooked pepper soup for anybody.

She explained that trouble started when she parted ways with her late ex-boyfriend and the father of the late young man stopped her from visiting their house.

Aishat said on that fateful day, her former boyfriend and some of his friends d!ed while she was at Iyakpi when the incident happened at Afashio

People are now calling for the friend of Aisha’s late boyfriend who raised the false alarm to face the law.
