FRSC officer, daughter found dead at herbalist’s den in Osun, suspects arrested
A Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer, Funmilayo Oluwamayokun Lasisi, and her teenage daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who were reported missing in Ogun State, have been found dead at a herbalist’s den in Osun State.
The 39-year-old officer and her daughter were reported missing on Sunday, November 2, after leaving their home at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. Family members and colleagues had unsuccessfully tried to reach them, prompting concern from the FRSC and Ogun State Police Command.

Confirming the discovery, Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, said the Osun State Police Command had arrested several suspects in connection with the case and recovered human remains believed to be those of the officer and her daughter.
“The Osun command has commenced an investigation and made some arrests. They found exhibits believed to be body parts. For convenience, Osun will lead the investigation, and we will lend the necessary support. The suspect is with them,” Ogunlowo stated.
According to family members on social media, the wife of the herbalist has been arrested, while the herbalist remains at large. Authorities continue to pursue leads as investigations unfold.
