Abuja-Lagos travellers have been advised not to take Ekiti route but should go through Akure-Ondo-Ife -Ibadan or Lagos-Ibadan-Ife-Ondo-Ore-Benin.
Acting Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dauda Biu, gave the advice in a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Mr Bisi Kazeem, on in Abuja.
Biu also advised those travelling from the western part of the country through the state to the North to ply same route.
He said the advisory had become necessary because Igbara-Oke-Ilara-Mokin route is totally blocked at the moment.
“However, in the interim, Operatives as well as logistics have been adequately deployed to ensure speedy removal of the obstructions on that route for ease of movement,” it stated.
