‘General Hospital’ actor, Johnny Wactor, fatally shot in Los Angeles

Johnny Wactor, a long-time veteran of the TV soap General Hospital, was tragically shot dead in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The 37-year-old actor was killed during a robbery that went horribly wrong.

According to reports from the Daily Mail, the incident occurred around 3:25 am in the area of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street. Wactor, who was leaving his side job at a rooftop bar with a female colleague, mistook three masked thieves stealing his car for tow truck drivers. When he intervened, one of the thieves opened fire.

The Los Angeles Police Department stated that the masked men fled the scene in a separate vehicle after the shooting. Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported Wactor to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects remain at large, and authorities have yet to identify or describe them. The investigation is ongoing as the community and the entertainment industry mourn the loss of the beloved actor.
