Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi has visited his Rivers State counterpart Nyesom Wike as part of reconciliation efforts.
Although no statement was issued at the end of the meeting, it reliable learnt from a source at the Rivers State Governnent House that it part of measures to bring reunite the duo and pave the way for further collaboration between the governments of the two states.
There had been acrimony between the two governors over political issues in the past few months.
The two governors had indicated interest in becoming the presidential candidates of their respective parties for the 2023 elections.
While Umahi contested under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Wike did under the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party.
They both lost at the presidential primary elections of their parties.
