The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a new date for the commencement of its eagerly awaited recruitment exercise.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the Board revealed that the online recruitment portal, which was initially set to open on Thursday, June 26, will now be launched on Monday, July 14, 2025.

The announcement, signed by the Secretary to the Board, emphasized that the official recruitment portal remains recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, cautioning applicants to avoid unofficial sites or third-party agents.

The statement also reminded the public that job applications for any of the paramilitary services under the CDCFIB are completely free of charge, warning applicants against making any form of payment during the process.

“Any inconvenience caused by this change is highly regretted,” the board stated.

The CDCFIB is responsible for the recruitment process into key paramilitary services in Nigeria, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

The board advised the public, particularly interested applicants, to rely only on official announcements and avoid falling victim to fake agents or unverified recruitment platforms.
