Gridlock as heavily loaded truck falls on Otedola bridge

On the Otedola bridge toward Ojodu Berger, an accident involving a heavy truck that was tipped over has reportedly occurred.

Due to the early-morning collision on Tuesday and the flooded section of the bridge, traffic has been backed up for hours.

The disclosure was posted on LASTMA’s X page, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority. The text read, “A deadly accident involving an overturned loaded (wheat) truck that has taken a lane on Otedola bridge inw Ojodu Berger. With the bridge’s flooded section, traffic is a little delayed.

Additionally, it stated that initiatives are being taken to clear the vehicle from traffic and retrieve its cargo.
