Group CEO of CIG Manish set to quit

Group Chief Executive Officer of Choice International Group (CIG), Mr. Manish Rohtagi, is on his way out of the company less than one after joining the firm.

Already, a number of top players in the corporate and multinational organisations in Nigeria are said to be eyeing him to help turn around their companies.

Manish is considered one of the most reliable hands in revitalising ailing companies.

A well-established automobile professional in Nigeria, he was the powerhouse behind TVS and Bajaj products successes and growth.

He had worked with Simba Group and Stallion Group before he was porched by the Chairman of CIG Group, Chief Diana Chen, to head her company in November 2023.

CIG deals in GAC Motors, GREE Air conditioners and LONTOR products.

This is not the first time CIG will be losing highly placed professionals.

Parvir Singh and Savros Diamantidis are some of the top executives that left the company after a short stay.

Manish has been a sought-after business professional with well established credentials.

He is said to have established cordial relationship with his Nigerian colleagues and influential people in the industry.

He reportedly established a fully functional new firm during the COVID pandemic within 15 days, employing about 250 Nigerians.

Manish was also said to be working on the project of CNG-powered automobiles and electric vehicles in addition to working with a number of NGOs for poor feeding programmes.
