Guard arrested for absconding with car under his watch
The police in Niger State have arrested a 34-year-old security guard, Henry Musa, over allegedly absconding with a car kept under his custody.
The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, said the suspect ran away with a Toyota Camry with registration number: LND 851 CJ, from Anambra State to Dikko in Niger State where he intended to sell the car.

He explained that, “The suspect was seen in Dikko, along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway in the Tafa area of Niger State, with duplicate copies of the document to sell the vehicle.
“Police operatives of the division were mobilised to the area and the suspect was taken into custody with the vehicle. During interrogation, he confessed that he was a security man in a hotel in Awka and that the key of the vehicle was entrusted to him by the owner, and that he decided to take the vehicle away in order to dispose of it.”
