Gunmen abduct medical doctor in Zamfara
In yet another troubling incident of insecurity in Nigeria’s northwest, gunmen have abducted Dr. Abdullahi Dangulbi, a medical doctor serving at the Anka General Hospital in Zamfara State.
The abduction was revealed on Thursday by security analyst Zagazola Makama via a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

According to the report, Dr. Dangulbi was kidnapped around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday while traveling from Anka to the state capital, Gusau. He was reportedly ambushed by armed men at Tashar Kalgo village, just after Jangebe town in Talata Mafara Local Government Area.
So far, there has been no official statement from the authorities, and it remains unclear whether the kidnappers have established contact or made any ransom demands.
