Gunmen abduct Nasarawa-based clinic proprietor, demand N58m ransom

In a shocking incident that has shaken Nasarawa State, gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Mr. Yakubu Alkali, the proprietor of Mochu Memorial Clinic.

The unfortunate event occurred on the night of Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his residence in Moroa, a community located in Akwanga Local Government Area.

According to a family source, the armed men stormed Mr. Alkali’s home, taking him away under the cover of darkness. The family confirmed that the kidnappers have reached out, demanding a hefty ransom of N58 million for his safe return.
