Gunmen block Kebbi major road, kills three during operation

Some gunmen on Saturday blocked the road from Yauri town to Koko Local Government Area in Kebbi State.

An eyewitness said the bandits from Rijau in Niger State had blocked the road from Yauri town to Koko and killed at least one driver and two commuters said to be travelling from Niger State to Sokoto.

He said the operation lasted one hour without any intervention.

He also said they had earlier laid siege to Shanga at kwalanga village where they reportedly rustled some cattle.
