Gunmen kidnap pastor, wife, children in Delta community
Gunmen have allegedly abducted Rev Agbadamashi Emmanuel, an Anglican priest, along with his wife and children. The abduction took place on Friday, October 6, at the Evwreni junction along the East-West road.
According to reports, the clergyman and his family were traveling from Ughelli to Uwheru community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State when they were ambushed and taken by the gunmen.

According to Daily Post, the cleric and his family are still in captivity.
The Public Relations Officer of the Anglican Communion, Ughelli Diocese, Hon Justice Iyasere confirmed the report in Warri.
He, however, could not confirm if the kidnappers have made any demand for ransom.
When contacted, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe promised to get back as soon as he gets information from the police division.
