Senatorial candidate of the Labour Party for Enugu East senatorial district, Mr Oyibo Chukwu.
He was reportedly killed by some gunmen Wednesday evening along with five supporters in his vehicle and set the car ablaze.
The killing was said to have taken place at Amechi Awkunanaw in the Enugu South Local Government Area.
The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Chijioke Edeoga, confirmed the incident, saying that the gunmen shot him inside his vehicle with five other people with him and set the car ablaze.
