Gunmen have killed two young businessmen in Aba, Abia on Tuesday.
The spokesman, Abia State Police Command, Geoffrey Ogbonna, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Ogbonna, a Superintendent of Police, who spoke in Aba, said: “The incident was at Ogbor Hill area of Aba.
“Report is still sketchy, but the police have stepped into action.”
An eyewitness, who requested anonymity, said the victims were killed under Ogbor Hill Waterside Bridge.
He said they were dealers in musical equipment and footwear before they were killed.

The source said the killers arrived in four tricycles with four assailants in each of them.
The source said: “I was here as one of the victims pulled his car over to greet his friend, the other victim.
“The gunmen suddenly arrived in four tricycles, confronted one of them and demanded for some money.
“In the ensuing argument, they shot the victims.
“It was disturbing that the attack took place just a few metres from the Eziama Police Station.”
NAN learnt that the son of one of the victims was also shot after his father was killed.
The son is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
