Haaland Scores Brace as Manchester City Edge West Ham 3-0 to Top Premier League Table
Manchester City strengthened their Premier League title challenge on Saturday with a convincing 3-0 victory over West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium. Erling Haaland was the star, scoring a brace to give Pep Guardiola’s side a crucial three points and move Man City one point clear of Arsenal ahead of their clash with Everton later tonight.
Haaland struck early in the fifth minute with a close-range finish to set Manchester City on course for a deserved win. Tijjani Reijnders then doubled the lead in the 38th minute with a thunderous strike into the roof of the net. Haaland completed the scoring in the 69th minute, sealing a dominant performance and condemning West Ham to another defeat.
The victory marks Manchester City’s fifth consecutive Premier League win, keeping them firmly in contention for the 2025/26 Premier League title.
