Hold Naira Marley, Zinoleesky responsible if I die, says Lil Smart

Singer and dancer Lil Smart has made shocking allegations against his former Marlian Records colleagues, Naira Marley and Zinoleesky.

In a series of Instagram posts on Sunday, December 8, Lil Smart claimed he was violently attacked by the duo and their associates.

According to him, the ordeal began when he was allegedly “kidnapped” and taken to a remote location where Naira Marley, Zinoleesky, and others—identified as “INN” and “MMP”—brutally assaulted him. Lil Smart alleged that he was stripped naked, and his attackers attempted to break his legs with stones.

He recounted narrowly escaping to the expressway without clothes and shared videos showing his injuries, including bruises on his legs, arms, and face. Another video purportedly shows Zinoleesky chasing after him.

Lil Smart also accused Naira Marley of wanting to “kill him,” alleging that the record label was trying to subject him to the same fate as Mohbad, another former Marlian Records signee who tragically died in 2023.

In a chilling claim, Lil Smart shared a screenshot of a message suggesting that Marlian Records planned to harm him, similar to what allegedly happened to Mohbad.

This accusation follows widespread controversies surrounding Naira Marley and his crew after Mohbad’s death, with many Nigerians demanding accountability for the alleged harassment and intimidation faced by artists under the label.

The Marlian Records camp has not yet responded to these new allegations. As the story unfolds, public outrage continues to grow, with many calling for a thorough investigation into the claims against Naira Marley and his associates.
