Hoodlums set TVC on fire, station goes blank

The Television Continental (TVC News) has been attacked by unknown people.
The station has been set on fire.
The attack began some minutes during the live programme, Your View, on Wednesday, 21 October, 2020.
The topic of discussion was on #EndSARS.
The anchor of the programme, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, and her co-hosts were frantically critisizing the action of the soldiers shooting live bullets at civilians for crowd control instead of using tear gas or water cannons at the Lekki tollgate the previous night, according to Gazelle News.
While this was going on, the host of the show started speaking in a panicked voice that people were at their gates trying to break their way in.
The station has gone blank and it is not showing anything again.
Later, the hoodlums set the TV station ablaze.
As at the time of writing this, the station is still on fire.
Meanwhile, a video of the station on fire has surfaced online.
TVC News is a Nigerian 24-hour television news channel owned by Continental Broadcasting Service Nigeria Ltd. now TVC Communications based in Lagos.
