How to stay focused in marriage, avoid divorce – Ironkwe
A pioneer principal of White Dove Academy, Suleja, Mrs Glory Ahaoma Ironkwe, has advised couples, especially women, to be strong and never to resort to separation or divorce over whatever challenges they may encounter in their marital homes.
Mrs Ironkwe gave this advice Thursday in Abuja during her book Lost in the Woods public presentation.
She said the book, which aims to promote literary talent and creative storytelling, unravels the mystery of marriage and the virtues that must accompany the bond to achieve marital bliss amid teething challenges.
Glory Ironkwe, currently an assistant planning officer with the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, said she was spurred into writing her novella following her stint as English Language and Literature in English teacher as well as her love for literary works, including “The Old Man and the Sea.”

According to the woman author, “Resilience in marriage is an indispensable virtue because, by the time you engage in legitimate activities, you will see that as time goes on, you will get out of the woods, and you will be fulfilled.”
Book reviewer Dr. (Mrs.) Obiageli E. Okafor said, “The journey of marriage between Chaacha and Magnus in the book witnessed quite a lot of turmoil, but at last, things took shape, and joy reverberated again.”
Drawing from idioms and proverbs, the reviewer also noted the author’s warning in the book that those who do not have the facts on relationship issues will be lost in the woods.
