The House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Ethiope Federal Constituency, Erhriatake Ibori-Suenu, has floored the incumbent, Ben Rolands Igbakpa of the New Nigerian People’s Party.
Ibori-Suenu is the daughter of a former governor of Delta State and National Leader of the PDP in the state, Chief James Onanefe Ibori.

The certified result of the House of Representatives election from the constituency as released by INEC show PDP 20,814 votes; APC 15,172; NNPP 8,901; APGA 2,155; ADC 637; ZLP 563.
