The Imo State Police Command has commenced investigations into the killing of two policemen.
Gunmen had on Friday night invaded Obowo Divisional Police headquarters located at Umulowe, killing two policemen and injuring three other cops.
The police spokesperson in the state, Orlando Ikeokwu, said the command had commenced investigation into the murder incident and the attack on one of its formations.
He disclosed that tactical units of the command had been drafted to the scene of the crime, even as he assured that the culprits would be brought to book.
The injured policemen have been transferred to an undisclosed hospital for treatment, according to the police spokesperson.
